I started shooting sports nearly 30 years ago, and I would have to say that few things give me the same thrill as capturing that decisive sports moment, when the ball is on the tip of the hand, when the plane of the endzone is broken, when flying bodies are caught mid-air. Athletics has so much passion and energy--no wonder so many people love great sports photography.

The thing that makes it so tough for parents is that it is almost impossible to get great shots of your athletes, especially in action.
