A Little Background

Skip fell in love with photography in high school, over 30 years ago, and has been taking pictures one way or another ever since.

He is a fulltime freelance photojournalist, shooting regularly for Virginia Business Magazine, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and a number of the Richmond Suburban Newspapers. In addition to providing general coverage for the William & Mary Alumni Association, Skip also shoots sports for Randolph Macon College and Virginia Commonwealth University. Skip has been recognized by his peers with a number of Virginia Press Association awards for his photography that was published by the Hanover Herald-Progress.

Who would have thought that snapping shots for a high school yearbook would lead to this?

Skip and his family live and play in Hanover County with their rescued cats and dogs.
